    I was not as happy with this cookbook as I have been with others in the past. Can’t really say why. But if I had a chance to review it before purchase, I would have passed on it. The recipes are for large groups and so many of them just didn’t appeal to me. It’s just me and my husband and a few friends. I am passing it along to a friend.

    This book was so special on so many levels . First I’m from MS . Know a lot of people in/from Hattiesburg the knew Robert and his family. And I had the privilege and pleasure of spending 9 days with him on one of his fabulous Italy trips . As I read the stories and recipes it was like reading a book that a friend had written. What a lovely tribute to his Mom, family and the neighborhood he grew up in and I can’t wait to try all of the recipes that have been made and enjoyed by so many. Robert you outdid yourself with this one. .

    The book was a birthday gift for my son who lives Austin,TX. When he visits they always have to eat at one of RSJ’ restaurants. He has been a fan since his days at USM.
